The scope of the fishing VR was far too difficult for me to complete in the time allotted for the midterm.  The physics with making a fishing line, bending the fishing pole when a fish is on hook, making at least 5 different kinds of fish for the one level, making different interactions with the fish, tacklebox, fishingpole, etc., was far too much to finish in just 5 weeks.  So, I have changed my midterm project to something more reasonable for the amount of time left.  The project is now Ball Cup.  I have made a scene which takes place in a basement of a home.  In the basement there is a table with cups and a pong ball.  I have set the physics material, mass, etc. on the ball, and now I just need an HTC vive at school to test it.   The scene is visually complete minus a few other interactable objects for the player to enjoy.  By next week I plan on having all interactable objects in the scene along with a point system for making objects into the cups.  I might also add a "Do not cross" line that resets the player so there can be no cheating.  Still deciding on that.   I may add other ideas as I go along.
